 The Docking Station provides a neat compact means of connecting gas and water services to the LabVent Filtered Fume Cupboards.
Install a docking station in each classroom where the fume cupboard is to be used, connect it to the existing gas and water supplies. Once the LabVent Filtered Fume Cupboard is wheeled into position within the classroom. You simply attach the water and gas service pipes to the Docking Station via the snap link connectors.
Connection to the waste outlet of the LabVent Filtered Fume Cupboard is via a vulcathene connector which is supplied separate to the Docking Station. This needs to be connected to existing waste pipes withing the classroom.
SAFETY NOTICE
The docking station is NOT fitted with an electrical socket outlet as CORGI gas regulations require a minimum distance between a gas fitting and an electrical socket of 150mm. Therefore any socket outlet must be located at least 150mm away from the docking station. For this reason we do not recommend the use of docking stations fitted with socket outlets.
