Pedestal Type
The pedestal type furniture system utilises storage units with a plinth, which mount directly onto the floor of the laboratory with the work surface fixing directly onto the top of the storage units. This system of furniture does not give the flexibility offered by the steel framework system but is generally the most cost effective option.
Pedestal Type
The standard range of under bench storage units are produced from 18mm Melamine faced MDF with matching edge lipping. Front edge of carcass is lipped with 2.0mm PVC. All plinth type cupboards are fitted with adjustable levellers.
Doors and drawer fronts are constructed from 18mm Melamine faced MDF with 2mm thick PVC lipping and hung on Nickel plated, 170 degree opening, fully adjustable and concealed hinges complete with integral catch. Doors and drawer fronts are fitted with PVC ‘D’ type handles. Drawer boxes are manufactured with coated steel sides incorporating steel track with nylon rollers and integral restrainer. Backs and bases are Melamine finished MDF. As well as these standard units we are also able to produce to bespoke specifications.
